2008 Vancouver Invitational Tournament Results

The Slam won the Vancouver Invitational Divison II tournament!
We won both games Friday, both games Saturday and then we won the championship game today! We were matched against Manitoba and won 28-27.

WOW! We won both games again today. The game against Regina was close, but the Slam played smart and played hard and won!

Decisive victories!
We play for the championship in Pool B (Division II) at 10:30 am tomorrow - who we play will be decided in the 9:00 am game. Ontario Lightning plays Manitopba and the winner of that game plays us for 1st. Portland will play BC-A for first place in Division 1.
Keep cheering us on - one more, very critical, game to go!

Tomorrow we play BC-B and Regina. BC has changed their rosters - Rod is playing for BC-A instead of BC-B. Watching both BC-B and Regina play today, I'd say we can beat them both- if the Slam continues to play smart like they did today.
